I am currently available for telephone counselling. Weekday or evening sessions can be arranged to suit.

I work with time-limited and open-ended therapy. I currently offer telephone sessions and hope to resume face-to-face sessions later in 2022.

About me and my therapy practice

I have extensive experience working with loss through bereavement and grief, chronic illness and disability, mental health problems including depression and anxiety, caring and the ageing process. My professional training, therapeutic practice and personal narrative have given me an understanding that individuals thrive when they are:

Practice description

I work within a person-centred approach based on acceptance, honesty and empathy. I offer a safe, confidential and inclusive space for you to talk about any problems that are worrying you. I believe counselling is about building a strong relationship with trust, openness and mutual respect.

My first session

My first session will aim to:

Explain what counselling can offer you at this time.

Clarify expectations so you can decide whether counselling is right for you.

Identify what you want from counselling and any goals you may have.
