About me and my therapy practice

Offering confidential ON-LINE and FACE TO FACE counselling.

If life feels overwhelming or you are anxious or depressed therapy  can help you make more sense of the issues you are facing.

My strength is building a safe, warm and non-judgemental space where you will feel fully heard and understood.

Whatever you might be going through, whether it be something specific; a recent loss, relationship difficulties, feeling depressed, stressed and anxious or a more general sense of sadness or dissatisfaction, there's a good chance I can help you discover ways of better managing difficult feelings, and finding a way forward.

My Approach

My warmth and acceptance will help us build a trusting  therapeutic relationship where you feel truly heard and supported, even when things in your life may be difficult.

My Experience

I have experience supporting clients with a wide range of issues including anxiety and depression, difficult relationships and coping with loss and bereavement. In addition to my private practice I work for a bereavement charity. I have a particular interest in supporting people affected by trauma.

My Qualifications

I have a BSc in Humanistic Counselling which means I can draw from different models and techniques to support you.

How I Work

My experience and training  allows me to support my clients to feel better and more empowered to make change. However your story is unique to you and we will work together to explore it at your own pace. Whatever you bring will be confidential and treated with respect.

Practice description

Where do I work?

My practice is based in Shepherd's Bush and Ealing in West London.

I have extensive training in on-line therapy, and most often use Zoom.

I also offer some walking therapy sessions.

I work with clients with a broad range of concerns including anxiety, self-esteem and trauma.  In addition to my private practice I work for a specialist bereavement charity and a low-cost community service.

My first session

I offer a free initial non-obligatory telephone conversation which gives us the opportunity to talk through the process. We can discuss what you need from therapy and see if I can help. You will be able to ask any questions you may have.

Research has shown the effectiveness of therapy depends on the quality of the therapeutic relationship, and we will be able to get a good sense of whether I am right for you.

If we decide for any reason not to work together I may be able to signpost you to another therapist or service to support you.
