Sometimes life can become overwhelming and we may notice that the strategies which we’ve always used to cope, can hinder our living the life we aspire towards. While these points of difficulty are never easy, they have the potential to become sources of our greatest transformation and growth. There may be something specific you wish to discuss or maybe you’ve been noticing a general feeling of malaise, anxiety or unease. In these moments it can be helpful to have someone supportive alongside you.
I am an integrative psychotherapist based in North London. As such, I am familiar with a number of different psychotherapeutic modalities and draw on that experience to find what style would be best to meet your needs. I also have over a decade experience working as a yoga and meditation teacher and draw from this background to understand the stories held in our bodies which may be difficult to put language to often lying on the edge of our own awareness.
I offer a non-judgemental space for whatever it is you would like to explore. You may be looking for short-term therapy to look at something specific, or you may want a more open ended, long-term exploration. Together, we can work towards understanding the underlying issues which contribute to current symptoms taking into account that our personal histories and background, mean that we are each impacted by life in different ways.
