About me and my therapy practice
I am not accepting any new referrals until further notice.
Life can present us with difficulties which are hard to manage on our own. Sometimes we might want someone to talk to and share our problems with.
Counselling gives you the space and time to be listened to in an environment where you are warmly accepted. The sessions are confidential although there are a few exceptions to this which will be explained to you before counselling starts.
I am a fully trained counsellor with a background in Person Centred Counselling and qualifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
I have been a qualified counsellor for almost 6 years and in this time worked full time in a multi-disciplinary NHS chronic pain service.
I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and adhere to the BACP ethical framework. I have been awarded a CRB certificate. I attend monthly supervision and regular training.
I am a member of the British Pain Society (BPS).
