About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative psychotherapist qualified to Diploma level and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also in my final year of a Masters degree (MSc) and will become an accredited member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) as an integrative adult and child psychotherapist.
I have experience working therapeutically with individuals in long term, open ended therapy as well as short term therapy, within the public health, education and charity sectors. My integrative framework combines different approaches from psychodynamic and humanistic theories which allows me to tailor my way of working to the individual and their presenting issues. At the heart of my practice is the therapeutic relationship. Within this I aim to provide a safe, non-judgemental and collaborative space for individuals to explore their difficulties and gain a deeper understanding and self-awareness of themselves and their relationships with others.
I work with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties and have a particular interest in fertility issues, perinatal mental health and relational difficulties.
