About me and my therapy practice

The truth of the BACP motto 'counselling changes lives' is something of which I have personal experience and also something I continually witness in the lives of my clients.

Do you want to change something about your life? Or learn more about yourself? Do you have a story that needs telling in a safe and confidential environment?

Establishing a secure and compassionate therapeutic relationship is a foundation key to my collaborative approach and whether it is long or short term therapy you request, I am trained to offer a range of skilful interventions to help meet your needs. Together we will work through your issues in a way that is specifically tailored to respect your uniqueness.

A former Education professional, I am skilled at working empathically with both adults and adolescents and am also trained to work with couples.

I help tackle...

the limiting effects of historical or current trauma including PTSD, all types of abuse, suicide, traumatic bereavement, relationship breakdown, loss of job or health, low self-confidence, mental health recovery, identity crises, relationship difficulties, domestic crises, parenting matters and second-generation migration issues.

If you would like to explore the possibility of arranging a formal appointment with me, I offer a free 20 minute exploratory telephone call for any queries you may have.

I offer a range of fee-paying structures depending on time of day and personal circumstances, to be discussed in the initial telephone call.
