About me and my therapy practice

I have been a counsellor for 18 years working with individual adults and young people. My practice is full time, so I offer flexibility for clients and I enjoy short and long term counselling.

I have been trained in 3 approaches and have learned about mindfulness therapies since my training, so I can work in different ways to suit the individuality of my clients.

I have been accredited with the BACP since 2010 and I continue to develop and enjoy my work with a huge diversity of people.

About me and my therapy practice

I qualified as a supervisor in 2012, and I have enjoyed supervising  counsellors in a variety of therapeutic settings. I achieved senior accreditation as a supervisor of individuals in 2018. My personal therapeutic models are psychodynamic, cognitive, systems and mindful therapies. I think this gives me scope as a supervisor, to accommodate the working styles of a good range of counsellors.   I have provided clinical supervision for counsellors who work with young people, schools, eating disorders, and drug rehabilitation. I have supervised individuals and groups for Mind, Porchlight, the NHS and Kent Police. I enjoy working with students and value the opportunities I sometimes get to actively promote the career and private practices of my supervisees.
