About me and my therapy practice

I have spent the best part of 30 years in the birth world, as a birth educator, birth doula and supporter for mothers and babies as a Active Birth Teacher and Senior YogaBirth Teacher.

I also trained and offered counselling and bodywork to mothers through pregnancy, birth and in preparation for pregnancy with Mizan abdominal work.

I trained with the College of Holistic Medicine in Life Development Counselling in 1995 and am now a registered Member of BACP.

Continued personal development is important to me and I am now offering Traumatic Birth Recovery, whilst completing my training with TBR College.

I am conscious that the birth process is not always straight forward. and complication may have arisen during your birth journey.  My passion for supporting women has guided me  to move into the work of perinatal mental health.

I am very interested in working with all birthing people and their families, but have a special desire to work with marginalised women, who are not always able to access this service.

For those in a low income bracket, I do offer a sliding scale and concession.
