Having worked in the public and private sector, I have extensive therapeutic experience in many areas. These include depression; feeling sad or hopeless; anxiety; panic; low confidence; work related stress; trauma; loss, family conflict and difficulties in relationships. I specialise in anxiety and depression.

Confidentiality and anonymity will be upheld to the highest standards. As a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, you can be assured of safe and ethical counselling.

I am down to earth, warm and welcoming. Clients often describe their counselling experience with me as  professional, effective and life-changing.

Practice description

Face to face counselling sessions are available. The safety of my clients is of the utmost importance to me and social distancing, disinfecting of all surfaces between clients and hygiene measures are standard. My aim is to create a perfectly safe therapeutic and physical environment.

Online and Telephone Counselling

Many people choose online or telephone counselling for convenience. There is no time spent travelling, you can choose a time that suits you and talk to me in confidence from the comfort of your own home. I see clients from across the country and internationally.

My first session

I will email you all details in advance of your first session with my address, directions and a contact form.

It is important that you feel safe and comfortable with your Counsellor. So our first session will give you the opportunity to discuss the issues you would like help with, in full confidence.

Towards the end of our hour together, we discuss a way forward that is right for you personally. At this stage, you can arrange for further sessions if you would like to but there is no obligation to do.

Each session lasts 60 minutes and the session fee is £45.

You will normally be offered an initial consultation within a few days.
