I offer remote sessions between 10am-3pm on Thursdays and Fridays, and in person sessions on Tuesdays between 12 and 5pm
About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced person-centred counsellor with over 20 years experience of working in diverse community settings. I offer a safe, confidential space and an empathic and non-judgmental relationship. This is the foundation upon which you can explore your self, relationships, thoughts, feelings and experiences both past and present in order to improve your sense of wellbeing and connection with yourself and others.
I am also trained in using a solution-focussed approach which I integrate into the work when appropriate to help you to visualise your preferred future, build personal resources and coping strategies, and to move towards personally meaningful goals.
I am offering face to face sessions at my therapy room in Hackney or remote sessions via phone or video call. I offer a free 10-20 minute phone consultation in which you can ask any questions you would like to help you decide if it is right for you.
My first session
Our first session will be an opportunity for you to talk more about your self, your background, what is going on in your life and your reasons for seeking therapy. We will also talk about what you would like to gain from our work together and how we will work towards your goals for therapy.
