About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling anxious, low or depressed? Perhaps life feels a struggle, difficult or overwhelming? Maybe you feel stuck, or just not yourself?
Sometimes we all need someone to share our problems, thoughts and feelings with. Someone who will listen to our story without judging or giving advice.
Counselling can be really helpful, but finding the counsellor who is right for you can feel confusing. It is important to find someone you can trust , feel comfortable with and speak freely to.
I am an experienced person-centred counsellor who will work with you in a confidential, understanding, respectful and accepting way. We will take the time you need to gain understanding and feel stronger and more hopeful.

I work from dedicated counselling rooms in Filton, Bristol. The rooms are purpose built, accessible , and there is plenty of parking space . It is also an area well served by public transport.
You will receive a warm welcome and we will work together to build a relationship that feels safe enough to talk about things that may feel daunting or uncomfortable. We will meet weekly and sessions last for 50 minutes. Sometimes a few weeks are enough, sometimes it can take longer.
If it is difficult for you to access face to face counselling at this location, I also work online or by phone.
My first session
I offer an initial session as a chance for us to see how we get along together, for you to find out more about me and how I work , and for us to discuss how counselling may help you.
There is absolutely no obligation to carry on with counselling after this session. If you do wish to continue, we will arrange a weekly time to meet. We can set a specified time frame for your counselling or you may prefer to keep it open ended.
The initial session costs £20.00 and can last for up to 50 minutes.
