About me and my therapy practice
Maybe you have gone through or are experiencing something traumatic, you feel stuck, anxious or even scared. Perhaps you have lost confidence and can’t see a way through, feeling that your self-esteem has been attacked or even crushed.
With my training in Integrative Counselling (Person Centred and psychodynamic), I offer you a safe place outside of the situation which is non-judgmental, respecting and honouring. I believe that you are the expert in the room, and together we can begin to uncover, understand and accept these feelings, behaviour and consequential situations. This would be the beginning of finding ways of coping and growing, of you becoming who you are intended to be, learning to be kind to yourself and to be set free from guilt.
I have 15 years’ experience in working with people with addiction (drugs and alcohol). I have also worked for the NHS IAPT programme and trained as a bereavement counsellor. I am based in South East London (SE4) but would consider home visits if you are house-bound.
I am as comfortable speaking English and French, as I am originally from Belgium.
Our first session will be an assessment where you can ask questions regarding the process. We will discuss what you would like to achieve and see if we feel that we can work together.
