About me and my therapy practice
In response to the latest challenges we are all facing due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I will be conducting all sessions remotely, either by voice call or video call depending client needs.
I am a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist in private practice at Chancery Lane, in the Holborn area of Central London, with experience of providing therapy in the NHS and the charitable sectors. I am registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and work with individual clients aged 18 years and over to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to explore what might be troubling them or preventing them experience their lives fully.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy seeks to understand how deep-rooted aspects of the past can have an impact on present day-to-day life and lead to recurring problems that cause suffering and distress. The process is a collaborative one in which the relationship between the client and the therapist is of great importance in order for the client to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships with others, and in this way develop a greater self-awareness and insight so that change can be achieved.
