My working days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and every other Saturday morning. If you need a session time outside of these times, please contact me so that we can discuss your needs. 

Having been both client and counsellor, I am passionate about making counselling and psychotherapy accessible to everyone. I believe that everyone has the right to be heard and understood.

For almost 10 years I worked in roles helping to safeguard vulnerable children and their families. Several years ago I realised that I wanted to work with people more relationally and collaboratively so began to train as a counsellor. I have a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology and describe myself as a humanistic counsellor that leans towards a person-centred approach. This means that I believe, given the right conditions, we are all able to achieve growth.

I have a private practice which is based in Keele, Staffordshire and I offer face to face, telephone and video call support to adults. Previously, I spent three three years working at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice as a volunteer bereavement counsellor. I have experience of working with a wide range of adults and the challenges that they face. I find that the impact of one experience is often intertwined with another and so, I avoid working with labels and instead focus on experiences and emotions as they present themselves.

I believe that the way we 'click' is integral to the success of our work and so I strive to nurture our relationship using warmth and empathy. I have a comfortable and private office based on campus at Keele University at the Nova Centre. There are toilets close to my room and refreshments are provided.

Face To Face Counselling - 50 minutes - £50.00
