About me and my therapy practice
Life can be challenging, pandemic or not. Our relationships, our lifestyles, and our careers can make us feel out-of-control, anxious, frustrated and sad. Counselling can give you the space and support to think through those feelings and maybe consider some new strategies. Daytime, evening and Saturday morning Zoom or phone sessions available.
2020 has, if nothing else, taught us about resilience.
Making the best of a weird situation can chip away at the most rock solid of us. Anxiety and stress are in the air. Everything we took for granted, from relationships to identity, lifestyle to career, has been shaken up. The lack of control can make us feel angry, depressed or frightened.
Although we can't control the pandemic and its related issues, getting some support can make a big difference to how we deal with life as it is right now.
I offer a confidential and safe environment for you to talk through your feelings. We can think about where you are now, where you'd like to be, and (within limits!) how we can get you there.

Fees per 50 minute session are: Individuals: £55, Couples: £75, Counselling students: £40, payable by bank transfer 24 hours before a scheduled session.
My first session
I offer a free 20 minute phone chat to potential clients. This enables you to get a feeling for whether you'll be happy working with me and ask any questions you may have. At the same time, I can get an idea of what you'd like to work on in our sessions, what your goals are, and whether we feel that distance sessions will be the best choice for you right now. If we're both happy, we can then book up a 50 minute session by Zoom or phone.
