During the ongoing situation with Covid-19, I am currently offering online sessions only.
About me and my therapy practice
I have extensive experience of counselling survivors of Domestic Violence, abuse and sexual violation. My specialist training is in physical, sexual and emotional abuse, and sexual violence.
I specialise in supporting survivors of abuse, and have expertise in anxiety, depression and PTSD. Clients bring a wide range of presenting life issues - having someone to talk to and work through the trauma-related symptoms can alleviate distress and empower your life.
Counselling is a healing relationship, where you will feel supported to face difficult changes. Self-esteem and confidence can be affected by life’s troubles but we can work together to improve this.
Counselling is a commitment to yourself; a place to grow and feel motivated to change. In my practice, I work therapeutically with both men and women who have been abused as children and adults. I help them to find a greater sense of safety and security and start on the road to recovery.
To help you decide if I am the right person to help you, I offer an initial 50-minute session so you can meet me and ask any questions. We will then decide together what your goals are, and how we will continue.
