About me and my therapy practice

I am able to offer a safe, supportive, confidential environment for adults, young people and children to talk through and try and make sense of what they are finding difficult. Sometimes, if the words are just not there, we can use creative tools to try and process what is happening.

To help and see if I am the right person to offer you the support you need, I offer a free, introductory, twenty minute telephone consultation. If you would like to proceed we will arrange a convenient time for a first session.

Please see my website for further information on how I practise and the counselling available: https://micheleblockleycounselling.com/

I am a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor. This means that I can offer you an empathic, non-judgemental, confidential counselling relationship where I will help support you to achieve your unique potential, empowering you to help make change happen through looking at your self development and your ability to make different choices. We will gently explore your feelings and emotions and help you to gain a greater understanding of yourself.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. In addition to obtaining my general adult counselling qualification I have undertaken further training in the following:

- Working with the bereaved (Cruse Bereavement Care)

- Counselling skills with children using the arts (Institute for Art and Therapy in Education, Islington)

- Psychotherapeutic counselling with children and young people (Ocean Counselling Training, LLP, Rochester)

My private practice is located in Bagshot within easy reach of the M3, junction 3, and next to Bagshot train station. Off road parking is available.

I offer short and long term therapy to adults, children and young people. I balance this whilst working in a local secondary school as a School Counsellor.
