About me and my therapy practice

You may be feeling stressed, anxious or depressed, or maybe you have experienced a significant loss in your life or perhaps you are going through a period of change that feels overwhelming and emotional. You may even convince yourself your feelings are 'silly' or insignificant and not worth 'wasting someone's time'. There is nothing too small or seemingly insignificant if it is impacting you and your life in any way.

Talking it through with someone who isn't a friend, colleague or family member, someone who is there to listen, not judge or have their own opinion, purely to help support you to work through anything in a way that works best for you.

Talking to a counsellor about your innermost thoughts and feelings, maybe for the first time, can feel daunting. My aim is to help make the experience easier for you, by listening without judgement, supporting you through difficult times or painful issues and by helping you to make sense of why you think and feel the way you do.

Understanding yourself and why you feel the way you do can be life-changing. It can lead to feeling empowered to make different choices, changing patterns of behaviour, breaking down the barriers and living the life you want to live.

I offer a friendly, supportive, calm and confidential environment for us to work together on whatever is troubling you and I will be by your side throughout.

As an integrative relational counsellor, I work flexibly and collaboratively drawing from different therapeutic approaches, which enables me to tailor the therapy taking into consideration your individual needs and unique experiences.
