About me and my therapy practice
I provide a professional, confidential relationship in which I'm dedicated to therapeutically supporting you. I work with people who seek therapeutic support for depression, anxiety, loss or change (career, relationship, home), suicidal ideation, chronic health issues, carer responsibilities, relationship difficulties, work or academic stress, and low self-esteem. I have further training and experience supporting people who are bereaved and people bereaved by suicide.
We can have many thoughts and feelings that go unnoticed or seem to need to stay stuffed away because they threaten to overwhelm. This is where therapy can help. I facilitate your ability to uncover what isn't readily available, frightening, or difficult to face alone, allowing you to move on with greater understanding and well-being.
Therapy can be difficult to begin and forming trust takes time. I'll encourage you to speak freely and will ask questions to help you along if needed, especially in the beginning. Over time, how we work together will develop organically between the two of us. And as we go along, we'll be able to work at depths that feel right for you.
