Due to the current outbreak of Coronavirus, I am following the government health advice to make sure my clients stay safe, I have put all the necessary measures in place to ensure that this advice is followed. With this in mind for the foreseeable future all my consultations will be carried out either online or by telephone.

I understand that this is a challenging and unsettling time for everyone and therefor, I have put robust business continuity plans into action to make sure I can still supply private, continual and confidential help to all my clients.

About me and my therapy practice

Sometimes life can seem overwhelming for so many different reasons, and I can offer a safe and comfortable space to support you to explore thoughts, feelings and beliefs that may be affecting the way you think about yourself and your relationships with others.  I am an accredited counsellor, and have been in practice since 2000. I work with a wide range of issues in my counselling room in Botley, Hampshire providing a calm, comfortable and confidential environment in which to meet and explore any difficulties you may be experiencing. You are welcome to telephone or email me with any questions about how I work, the process of beginning therapy or to arrange an initial session.

I offer appointments from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and will respond to any contact within 24 hours Monday to Friday.

Due to the current Coronavirus situation, for the foreseeable future I will only be offering online or telephone supervision within these hours for both individual and group supervision.

About me and my therapy practice

Please let me assist you in providing good, effective, counselling for your clients in accordance with the BACP guidelines.

As your supervisor I will endeavour to guide and support you to draw on your awareness and your reach of rational thinking. Effective supervision can help throw light on processes that may be missed, client feelings that get misinterpreted, and having another view on your counselling work can increase the progress and safety of both your clients and you.

Supervision can be a creative endeavour where the two of us can stretch our minds and create new ways of thinking and feeling about your clients.

My goal, as your supervisor, will be to maintain an ethical awareness enabling you to effectively uphold the relevant professional codes of conduct associated with the role of counsellor.

I work as an integrative supervisor working with both groups and individuals having qualified as a supervisor at Metanoia, London.
