About me and my therapy practice

My training is as a Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist. I have also trained as an Emotionally Focused Coupes Therapist, and EMDR Trauma Therapist.

I believe that you are the expert on your own life and world. I provide a safe space where you can come to listen more deeply to yourself; to your body, emotions, thoughts and spirit, in order to live the life you want.

EFT Couples Therapy developed by Dr. Sue Johnson, helps couples recognize the negative cycle of relating that has developed in their relationship, find ways of undoing this and experiencing deep connection again.

Our present beliefs about ourselves, I am not good enough, I don't belong. I am not safe, I'm useless, can have their source in small or big traumatic experiences in the past. While our logical brain can tell us that these beliefs are not true, we can still find it difficult to rid ourselves of their felt sense. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Trauma Therapy, helps trace these unprocessed memories of the past, which feed our present view of ourselves, and reprocess them leading to freedom. EMDR Therapy can also be used for phobias or accidents.

Online and in-person individual or couples sessions are available.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a Senior Accredited Supervisor with BACP. I am also an IAHIP (Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy) Accredited Supervisor, and a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Supervisor with ICEEFT (International Centre for Excellence for Emotionally Focused Therapy).

I provide supervision for therapist working with individual adults and therapists working with couples. I also offer supervision to supervisors.

Our office is located in Maghera , Co. Derry/Londonderry and I also work online.

I have a Diploma in Supervision from The Dublin Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre.
