About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor and work in a person centred way. I specialise in addiction, though I also see clients for various other issues and work collaboratively to explore what is behind their anxiety, depression and to build self esteem. I provide a safe non-judgemental space to allow clients to talk about any current challenges they are facing and to look back on their life to identify patterns of relating and ways of being in the world. I believe this holding experience to be at the heart of change and overcoming difficulties.

I currently work for The Nightingale Hospital alongside my private practise. I work with addiction in a multitude of ways and have in-depth experience of 12 step recovery programmes. I have worked in a male prison with The Forward Trust, an organisation working towards change within the prison system. I also saw clients through the NHS at a Women's Centre in Camden providing short term therapy for over 3 years.

Taking the first step is often not easy. I am happy to have an initial chat on the phone to see whether you feel we can work together. I hope to help you move forward with more awareness of yourself and explore your choices to feel happier and derive meaning in your life.

Training, qualifications & experience

I studied at Regents University where I gained the Certificate, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma and then MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling. I wrote my dissertation on the impact of Endings and Loss and the need for space to process and heal. I also have a BA in Creative and Media Writing.
