About me and my therapy practice
I am a Registered & Accredited Counsellor, working one to one with men & woman and with couples as a relationship counsellor.
I also work with student counsellors in training.
I offer face to face, telephone and video appointments.
My face to face sessions are at my therapy room in Leeds 26, close to bus routes and a short walk from Woodlesford Train station.
My telephone & video sessions are offered throughout Leeds, West Yorkshire & UK wide and in Europe to English speaking clients.
Practice description
I completely understand that asking for help isn't always easy and working your way through difficult feelings or situations can sometimes be overwhelming for you. However reaching out is a strength.
Whether this is your first experience of counselling or you are building on previous work, our sessions together can help provide you with a space to be supported, help you regain control and management of your life. I support & listen to you and we work together to help you find the strategies to make the changes you wish to see in yourself and your relationships with others.
Being able to speak in a confidential space free from judgement, can provide with a freedom you may not have in other relationships. I provide time and space for you, when you need to be heard.
I work relationally, integrating different counselling theories into my work and practice and use these approaches as I feel appropriate. This means the work we do together is tailored and personalised to you, focusing on your needs.
My counselling experience is varied, having worked for a charitable organisation, in secondary school with young people, in school wellbeing supporting staff in schools/colleges and within private practice supporting adults (18 yrs plus) & with couples supporting marriages and relationships.
You may wish to see me following a bereavement, have anxiety or depression, marital/relationship/family issues. You may feel angry, have low self esteem, have issues at work, be managing a illness/diagnosis, be peri/post menopausal.
There can be many other reasons for making contact and no issues is too small, if it is affecting you.
We can arrange a free 10-15 minute telephone consultation, where you can ask any questions you may have.
