About me and my therapy practice

Counselling is a talking, creative therapy that gives you the time and space, to help you to be better equipped with coping methods for an easier and much more freeing way of being who you really are and in turn helps you to get on with your daily life. Sometimes your thoughts might be racing, and you may have uncomfortable feelings, and find that you are not coping with everyday issues. If this is you, then now may be the time to make that call and get some help. I truly believe that when you enter counselling that, it is the trusting, non-judgemental, confidential and supportive space that helps you as my client to engage and reflect about you and your situation. Counselling is not an easy journey to travel, but with my training of a level 7, post graduate diploma, and other relevant professional development certificates in varying theories, I am more than qualified to help and give that support to you.

I am an integrative, humanistic, psychotherapeutic counsellor, with 14 years experience in the counselling profession. About me and my therapy practice

I know from experience that finding the right supervisor can be quite daunting. Therefore I offer an initial first supervision session of one and half hours at a cost of £40.00.

My preferred approach to supervision is integrative, therefore enabling a variety of issues to be looked at and worked through using the conglomerate of differing knowledge.

I have always viewed the supervisory relationship as that of mutual collaboration and understanding of goals and tasks. This based within strong working bonds and mutual trust.

I aid a collaborative, interactive and supportive environment within your supervision process, that is safe, professional and enabling for any professional and personal disclosure. Your values and strengths are always acknowledged and the boundaries and space are always adhered to.

I encourage supervisee's to: conceptualise clinical material and apply appropriate interventions, identify and manage transference, develop analytical, creative and self-awareness skills, plus clarify roles, responsibilities and ethical issues.

I am an approved NCS supervisor.

Supervision is at a cost of £50.00 after the initial first session.
