About me and my therapy practice
Psychodynamic therapist since 2011 and a supervisor (SAP) , with extensive experience in conducting assessments, risk management, offering high-intensity, time-limited and open-ended therapy. I currently work in the National Healthcare Service and in private practice in Central London and Hampshire.
About therapy, you and my practice
As an experienced therapist, I can offer you a safe and confidential space for us to reflect and explore issues from a different perspective. This can help you to gain better understanding and insight why you might be feeling stuck or repeating difficult patterns.
My main approach is psychodynamic which means we will work to help you understand yourself more deeply. The way in which our minds work is shaped largely by our early experiences, although this operates generally outside our conscious awareness. Together we hope to increase your psychological insight, reinforce personal growth and enrich life.
Therapy is an opportunity to explore life transition, unhelpful patterns of relating to oneself, others and the world that may be underlying symptoms of depression and anxiety and think about helpful ways to manage when life becomes difficult.
