I’m a U.K.C.P. accredited Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist (M.A.) and a B.A.C.P. Registered Member for work with Adults. I have 9 years’ experience, including 6 years working with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service clients, 2 years’ experience with a C.A.M.H.S. Family Therapy Team and additional training in working with Trauma.

I see difficulties as an invitation to find a new, different and more positive pathway. I am strongly client-led so Therapy and approach is slightly different with each client or family. My approach is creative arts and play based, Jungian, Psychoanalytic and Neuroscientific, using the latest scientific research and Mindfulness to understand human reactions and find the most effective tools to calm, soothe and transform emotions and expressions of them. A strongly Compassion-focussed approach which includes family dynamics and history to understand difficulties and, where appropriate, involve parents in finding positive solutions.

I use play and the creative arts, including sand tray, and often work closely with parents of younger children. I work with any presenting issue or condition but have extensive experience of working with anxiety and anger management.

I also work as an Associate with Art is Medicine  and Help for Psychology  as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist for adopted children, parents and families and contributing to Multidisciplinary Adoption Assessments funded by the Adoption Support Fund.
