About me and my therapy practice

I have been a fully qualified counsellor since 2006, BACP accredited since 2008. I appreciate and respect the uniqueness of each individual, and I strive to be a respectful, ethical and empathetic practitioner. I have extensive experience of working face to face with clients on a wide range of emotional issues impacting on their lives. I am able to see clients for long or short term work, working in an effective and flexible way to meet each client’s needs. I use an integrative model that enables me to develop a good therapeutic relationship with each client, while using interventions to help them work towards increased self awareness and an understanding of helpful coping strategies. I have worked extensively with trainee counsellors working towards their various professional qualifications, and who require personal therapy in order to meet the criteria of their courses. I am happy to answer any initial concerns or queries either through email contact or telephone.

About me and my therapy practice

I have been a qualified counsellor since 2006, BACP accredited 2008. In 2010 I completed a Diploma in Supervision,  in 2014 I undertook a Upromise Training and was awarded an Enhanced Supervision Accreditation, and in 2015, I gained a Certificate of Accreditation as a CORC  Supervisor in the use of Outcome Measures. I work in my own practice as a Therapist and Supervisor, and for 13 years I worked part time for a Bromley Agency as a Therapist, Senior Practitioner, Supervisor and Student Placement Coordinator, until leaving in December 2018 to develop my Private Practice.  I have had the privilege of supervising many highly experienced therapists, but also many trainee counsellors as they worked towards their various professional qualifications. I am aware of the importance of providing reports to, and liaising with their places of learning, in order to meet the criteria for their courses. I am happy to answer any initial concerns or queries either through email contact or telephone.
