About me and my therapy practice

There are times when we may feel overwhelmed or find life difficult. Maybe work isn't satisfying, or you are trying to cope with stress, anxiety, depression or feeling down or maybe panic attacks. Sometimes we may want to get to know and understand ourselves more and explore how we really want to live our lives. 

Therapy can provide real support especially during these exceptionally challenging times if you are feeling overwhelmed, or isolated and lonely, worried about your health or experiencing difficulties in your relationships with partners or family members.  Maybe you are grieving the loss of a loved one and want support at this difficult time.  I can also help with life transitions including retirement and coaching and mindfulness can support your process.

I trained as a Person Centred Therapist as well as developmental and attachment based approaches and have a BSc in Reflective Therapeutic Practice from the Metanoia Institute, London.

I am a registered and accredited member of BACP and an accredited executive coach and leadership mentor with the ILM.

I am also SCIP ( Self Compassion in Psychotherapy) trained with Kristen Neff & Chris Germer, offering a combination of therapy and mindful self compassion. I provide Mindfulness Based Approaches including MBSR/MBCT for individuals and groups and Mindfulness Based  Compassion Approaches.

I can offer daytime, evening and some weekend sessions , face to face, virtually or by phone from my private practice.

Practice description

I understand how coming to therapy can be daunting. I undertook therapy myself and I really didn't know what to expect. However, therapy was so helpful, and it led me to change career and train as a therapist.

The first session is an opportunity together to know each other and it's important that you feel comfortable with me.

As  we work together,  you will  become more attuned to your inner wisdom enabling you to feel more self aware, confident and resourceful and living a fulfilling  and meaningful life.
