About me and my therapy practice
I am a counsellor/psychotherapist in private practice, having previously counselled in the NHS, EAP progammes, HM Prison Service and the Inland Revenue. I am also trained and experienced in spiritual direction and I offer spiritual direction and ministerial supervision. I am experienced in facilitating personal and professional development, and I am an experienced mentor. My theraupetic style is grounded in the person-centred philosophy of Carl Rogers and draws on the work of other therapists such as the cognitive approach of Gerard Egan and the developmental work of Erik Eriksn. This approach can be shaped and tailored to client need, leaving the client in control in any decision-making process involved in the management of change, conflict and anxiety - or coming to terms with loss and bereavement.What I can help with
