About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced, registered, Counselling Psychotherapist. I offer private individual therapy on an ongoing or short term basis to adults and young people. My consulting room is a comfortable, safe and confidential setting in Aberdeen’s West End.
Appointments available to suit including evenings/weekends.
Life brings us many challenges, and whether you come with specific issues or because you would like to understand yourself better, I seek to build a safe, trusting and empathic relationship in which you can process difficult or painful feelings, at your own pace, in a thought provoking atmosphere.
The core of my approach is person-centred. This approach moves away from the idea of the therapist as an expert who can ‘fix’ you, trusting instead that you possess the innate capacity to fulfil your own potential given the right conditions. Finding the right therapist is crucial, so please come and meet me and see if it feels right for us to work together.
