About me and my therapy practice
Having trained to work from an Integrative Humanistic perspective, my client is at the heart of my therapy. I am led by the needs of my client, adapting my approach to what will be most helpful to the individual.
I believe the key to successful therapy lies in the positive and supportive relationship between the counsellor and the client. I work on the basis of developing genuine mutual trust and respect, always with you at the centre of each session.
My experience is in working with people of all ages, from 11 years and over, providing counselling support through times of emotional distress caused by issues such as loss, bereavement, anxiety, depression, difficulty with relationships, family breakdown, self esteem and confidence, employment/ schooling, anger, suicidal ideation, self harm and more.
In addition to working at The Eaves, I work as a Youth Counsellor for Mind and an Adult Bereavement Counsellor for Cruse.
