About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified CBT therapist speaking both French and English.
I believe that everyone’s issues are valid, and we are all entitled to some understanding and support when going through difficult times. My job is to help you get some clarity, focus and respite from the troubling situations you may be experiencing.
I offer my clients a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what is going on for them, and teach them how to cope with their feelings and thoughts in a safe and healthy way.
In CBT we believe that thoughts, emotions and behaviours are closely interconnected. One situation will bring up different feelings for different people, who will then behave and think differently.
I currently only work online.
My first session
During the initial consultation, we will discuss what brings you here, what you would like to achieve from therapy and whether we both think we can work together. I will tell you a little bit about myself and how I work, and answer any questions you may have.
CBT is often time-limited, and is problem-solving. This is why CBT can be hard work and involves doing tasks between sessions, for you to practice the skills you will learn in therapy and learn to eventually become your own therapist. While I always discuss CBT in the initial consultation, I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Just leave me a message and I will get back to you.
