About me and my therapy practice
All of us have emotional burdens that are invisible to the outside world but painful to us. They weigh us down and prevent us from living a life filled with joy and excitement. Even though shining light on them can help gain insights into the root of personal distress, we hesitate to do so, as it might be scary and shameful. Indeed, it is a risky adventure to open up to a total stranger.
I ensure you a warm and non-judgmental atmosphere, which will contain your disturbing feelings and flashbacks, painful memories and traumas. Together we will work through distressing experiences that are burdening and tormenting you.
This journey towards self-awareness and healing will help you to make sense of your thoughts and feelings, shed light on the source of your struggles as well as to release you from the burden of the past. Our exploration of your inhibiting beliefs and behavioural patterns will offer you a better understanding of your inner world.
My expertise lies in working with clients using a psychodynamic approach, which means working on inner and outer dynamics and exploring the source of struggles. I find it more effective once supplemented by other psychotherapeutic approaches such as TA, psychosexual and existential psychotherapy. I also use CBT techniques, according to the client’s needs, for more short-term counselling.
Usually I practice in Mill Rd, Cambridge, however due to the current situation all sessions are carried online until further notice.
My first session

The first, as well as every other session, are 50 minutes long.
