About me and my therapy practice
Life can be a tough gig sometimes. You may be experiencing a challenging stage in life, a conflicted state of mind, or a difficulty within yourself that keeps on returning to trouble you. When things reach a point where you feel you don't want to deal with it all by yourself, it can help to talk to someone who is independent from every other area of your life. Someone whose job it is to listen, bring other perspectives, help you explore things. Working with a trained professional in a confidential setting can be helpful in gaining valuable insight into your situation, and bringing about much-needed change. You don’t have to suffer in silence.
I support people who want to work with:
- Emotional issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem/confidence, high sensitivity (‘HSP’s).
- Situational issues such as stress, grief, lack of assertiveness, lack of direction or meaning.
- Recovery from childhood/developmental trauma, C-PTSD, growing up as a Third-Culture Kid (‘TCK’s).

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma (with Merit) in Psychosynthesis Counselling from the Psychosynthesis Trust.
I am trained in an integrative style of counselling which draws on teachings from the psychodynamic, person-centred, gestalt and transpersonal schools of thought. This style works to increase awareness of the various aspects of your experience, find new ways of relating to internal conflicts, and eventually integrate them in service of a deeper connection to who you are. How this shows up in our work will depend on where you are at and what you are wanting to work on. No two clients are alike and I work to tailor our sessions to suit you best.

The next step would be for me to send you a questionnaire to complete and return to me. This is to get an idea of what has brought you to therapy, your history, and what would best meet your needs. If appropriate, we would then look to schedule an introductory session to further explore what you are looking for, and to see if we feel like a good fit for each other. You will only be charged for that introductory session if we decide to work together.
You don’t need a GP referral.
