About me and my therapy practice
Do you find yourself putting on a brave face but feeling very different on the inside? Perhaps you’re empty and numb, or overwhelmed by emotions? Are you finding it hard to cope day-to-day? I know how tough life can be at times and how lonely it feels when no one seems to understand.
If you’re wondering when you’ll feel happy or hopeful again, or you’re worrying about the future and fearing the worst, or maybe you’re struggling with a big change and a sense of who you are; I’d like to help. Being able to talk freely to someone, without fear of judgement or shame, can be a huge relief.
Practice description
I support adults affected by low self esteem, anxiety, depression, or relationship issues, often those who have experienced the death of a loved one, a major loss or life event, or child sexual abuse.
Our work together can help ease your pain, and support you to feel calmer, to cope more easily, and to feel better about yourself. We will go at your pace and, whatever comes up, we can try and make sense of it together.
Counselling has helped me through some difficult times; I’m confident it can help you, too.
Next step...
I work on a one-to-one basis either online or from my therapy room in Exeter. I offer a free initial call or meeting, giving us a chance to get to know each other a little before you commit to anything. It’s important you choose a counsellor you feel comfortable with.
Drop me an email to arrange a time to have an informal chat. I look forward to hearing from you. Take care.
