About me and my therapy practice

I have 35 years experience as a Counsellor & Psychotherapist working with individuals and couples presenting with a wide range of issues.

I am BACP Senior Accredited and offer a confidential, friendly and non-judgemental approach, relating warmly to a diverse scope of people. I am an Integrative Counsellor with a Person-Centred ethos and have trained in Psychodynamic & CBT approaches.

Additionally, I teach Counselling at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, having obtained a PhD in Counselling.

For many years, I ran Stress Management and Assertiveness (Communication Skills) training courses for the NHS; my Counselling Master's degree research was related to stress and anxiety management.

I have been a Supervisor of other Counsellors, for individuals and groups, for over 25 years and worked with a wide range of therapists - trainee counsellors to experienced therapists - who practice a variety of modalities such as Integrative, Person-centred, CBT and Psychodynamic.  I have been an accredited Supervisor since 2000.
