About me and my therapy practice

Hello, my name is Charlotte. I am a qualified person centred therapist. I offer a confidential non- judgemental environment in which you can explore whatever it is you may be feeling or experiencing, in your own time and at your own pace. The way I work is non-directive, allowing clients to explore their concerns in an environment where you feel safe, supported and accepted. Through this process, people can enhance their self awareness, to feel more self-accepting and become more empowered in their lives.

I have worked for a range of services, including organisations including: Mind UK, Talking Together, Age UK and The Brain Charity. I also have experience working for several years as a Mental Health Practitioner in a range of environments, including educational settings and residential services working with complex care and mental health illness.

Practice description

I offer long-term face-to-face therapy, online counselling, short-term face-to-face therapy, telephone counselling. Clients I work with include: Adults, Couples, EAP, Older adults, Organisations.

I am a registered member of British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and I abide by its Code of Ethics. I also hold a enhanced DBS certificate. This includes keeping up to date with continuing professional development and supervision.

My first session

I offer a free initial telephone consultation for new clients. This is so I can introduce myself and so you have the option of asking questions about my practice. It can also help to 'break the ice' before meeting face to face, and enables you to consider if you want to take up the service.

If you are unsure if my service would be right for you, then feel free to contact me to discuss further.
