About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person Centred Counsellor.
My belief is that offering a safe, non judgemental place to talk and express feelings can enable deeper understanding and acceptance of yourself.
My background is of a long standing NHS Professional who is dedicated to caring for others.
I became a counsellor because it was an alternative way to help people and to build on a profession I love but within a different area.
My focus is on creating a safe, non-judgemental and compassionate space where you can fully express, explore and experiment with any feelings, thoughts and emotions that you may be struggling with.
Currently, I volunteer as a counsellor with the Acorn Centre in Nuneaton, which is an agency that specialises in Pregnancy loss and Pregnancy concerns, but I also offer a wide variety of other areas to work within.

Engaging in counselling is a personal journey.
I understand that everyone is unique and will, therefore, have their own personal difficulties and goals.
I will give you space and time to encourage you to explore your own difficulties by working together to help gain insight of self and what life means for you. This can lead to having a greater sense of awareness, improved coping strategies, self-esteem and improve health and wellbeing.
My first session
At your initial enquiry, I will contact you to ask you some questions about your concerns, and some background information so that we can decide if we are a good fit and thus able to enter into a counselling relationship together.
