About me and my therapy practice

I'm a Senior Accredited counsellor/psychotherapist with the BACP. During my 28 years of active clinical practice I has completed over 30,000 therapy sessions and successfully dealt with a wide range of issues from trauma to health anxiety. I hold a Masters degree in counselling and psychotherapy and I'm a qualified EMDR Practitioner having completed training accredited with EMDR Europe. As a trained adult educator and accredited mindfulness teacher I have lectured extensively in the field of counselling, psychotherapy and mindfulness.

I offer an integrative approach to psychotherapy and I'm passionate about providing therapies which are proven to work. I have a particular interest in Transactional Analysis (TA), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt Psychotherapy and Chairwork.

Alongside my clinical work I provide online psychology training programs which are currently used internationally by organisations such as The Open University, Education Scotland, the United States Department of Defence leadership program and Universities in the UK, America, Canada, Malaysia and South Africa. A sample of my training can be viewed on the Lewis Psychology YouTube channel.
