About me and my therapy practice

My specialism is helping you discover your way forward. This may be through slowing down to reveal how much more you know about a situation than you previously thought or to deconstruct limiting beliefs increasing your agency for decision making.

Practice description

I am currently offering online and telephone counselling as well as in person counselling or psychotherapy. Having an initial consultation will help us determine how best to begin our work together.

My first session

The initial consultation can take up to 75 minutes and the fee is slightly higher than subsequent 50 minute sessions. I will need to explain my professional responsibilities to you however the first session is primarily for us to meet to determine if we can work together. We will discuss what has brought you to therapy, the impact your experience is having on your daily life, and what a good outcome might look like for you. I like to take clients through a series of questions by way of an assessment as this gives me background information for the work and helps reveal if there are any conflicts of interest or reasons for onward referral. The most important thing is that you find the right therapist.
