About me and my therapy practice
I started my private practice in 2011 and have since offered counselling for individuals and couple counselling.
Clients come to seek help for depression, anxiety, relationship problems, low mood, loneliness, childhood trauma, bereavement, couples counselling and many other reasons.
I offer unlimited sessions because only you know when you feel you have achieved your goal.
Couples who contact me for couple counselling I advise to have 2 individual sessions before coming together at the third session. This way I learn from both partners what they feel is lacking for them in the relationship and it reduces 'discoveries' many sessions later.
My first session
In the first session I will ask you to fill in a consent form to allow me to keep your details on file. I will also ask you to fill in a CORE form which asks 34 questions about how you have been feeling over the last week. This will allow me to get a perspective of your level of depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation.

I see my role as a supervisor as someone who nurtures, teaches, manages and supports when support is needed and who can be relied upon in difficult situations.
My approach is integrative.

I have been qualified since 2011 and have worked for local counselling agencies, Tavistock Relationships and Barnardos. I also work in private practice.
