About me and my therapy practiceMy working experience has been 11 years at a university counselling service working integratively with young adults.
I have worked in private practice since 2013. This has been face to face at The Ilkley Healing Centre.
At the moment during the pandemic I am working on line and telephone.
I work in a person centred manner. That is, putting the client first but I also offer ways in managing distressing conditions such as anxiety, stress, and panic attacks.
The Healing Centre is a small terraced house near the centre of Ilkley. It is a long established organisation offering many types of recognised therapies.
It is easily accessible by bus, train and car. On street permit parking with permits accessed from reception. Otherwise car parks within easy walking distance.
My first session
The first session is a time to get to know each other. Discuss reasons for you coming. How you would like to feel at the end. Ways I can help and expectations.
