About me and my therapy practice
We all may need additional support at certain times in our lives. It can feel good to talk to someone about one's challenges, and have that person really listen to you. This is what counselling offers.
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor with a Diploma from The Minster Centre, a BACP accredited training programme. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their ethical framework.
I offer a safe, relaxed, non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts and feelings around whichever issue challenges you. My aim is to facilitate a deeper understanding of yourself or a particular difficulty, to journey with you in what may often be new and unexplored territories, and to forge ways of moving forward.
I work with young people and adults from all different backgrounds. Alongside my private practice, I have worked as a counsellor in school and university settings, and for Woman’s Trust, a charity dedicated to recovery from domestic abuse.
Previous to becoming a counsellor, I spent 15 years as a freelance musician. Music continues to be important for me.
An initial session can help you decide if counselling is for you. In it, you may like to tell me what brings you to therapy, and we can discuss together what it may offer you.
Sessions are weekly and last for 50 minutes.
An initial consultation costs £40. Thereafter, I charge £50 per session.
Please email or ring the above number if you are interested in booking a session.
