About me and my therapy practice
Life can feel pretty raw at times... whether that's due to circumstances or perhaps you feel that you're unable to be the person you want or think you should be.
I believe that counselling can help open up a space in which we can both work with whatever you feel or think so that you can begin to get 'on top' of things again. Sometime the situation isn't going to change... but they way in which we deal with things can make a huge difference.
I work by first providing an accepting and supportive space for us to start to look at what's going on for you. Then we'll start to unpick whatever comes up and see if there are other perspectives for you to approach things from. This can lead to 'taking the sting' out of a seemingly unsurmountable obstacle, or it can just be helpful to have someone listen to the things that others feel unable to hear. We can then begin to look at other options for you to really begin to live life as fully as possible.
I hope that we can work together to move towards a place in which you can feel better about yourself and about life. Do check out my website and get in touch.
