About me and my therapy practice
If you are experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems such as stress, anxiety or depression, I can help.
Mental distress can be caused by lots of reasons such as work-related stress, relationship problems, loss, separation or bereavement. This can bring about feelings of sadness, worthlessness, helplessness or anger. You may be feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope or experiencing debilitating social anxiety.
These feelings may have been triggered by a recent event, or may have been building up for some time, often resulting in feelings of low self-esteem and lack of confidence. This can often lead to mental distress and poor self-care and may be impacting negatively on personal relationships.
As a qualified person centred therapist and a trained coach/mentor, I can help you. I spend time really getting to know you and understand your individual difficulties. Guided by your needs, I will help you work through your specific issues in order to help you find your way through them and get to a better place.
I offer confidential, person-centred therapy, bringing warmth and compassion as well as respect and straight talking. I'm in your corner, helping you face the thoughts and feelings that have brought you here, supporting you and working with you every step of the way.
In order to support the Government's Covid-19 measures, Mind Aloud has taken the difficult decision to suspend face to face counselling at this time. We are currently providing counselling support online and via telephone.
We understand that suspending face to face counselling may be a worry for some clients and we realise that online counselling won't suit everyone, however we are keen to support our clients and volunteers to stay safe during this Covid-19 crisis.
