About me and my therapy practice

I prioritise a relational approach to therapy which means that I place an importance upon cultivating a genuine and meaningful relationship within the therapeutic space. I assist people to become aware of conflicting, and often unconscious, aspects of themselves which can be a catalyst for empowerment and positive change. Our work together will be explorative, we will be curious about your processes and how you make sense of your life experiences; from this we can we then learn to understand how past ways of being disrupt your present day living.

The reasons that people come to therapy vary and each person's therapeutic project is unique; together we will look at where you have been, where you are now, and who you would like to become.

Seeking out therapy is not an easy decision and meeting a new person can be scary; I always encourage clients to bring their genuine selves into the room so that we can meet each other simply as we are.

Practice description

I offer integrative counselling in the South Manchester and Cheshire area, and Online. I am a fully qualified and registered integrative therapist with the BACP, NCPS, UKCP, and UKATA. I am able to work with an adult (18+) population and have worked with people ranging from ages 18 to 83, each person is unique and no therapy is the same.

I offer both short term and long term therapy; throughout our work together we will evaluate and 'check in' with how the work is progressing and developing.

he first session will allow us to get to know each other a little bit; I may ask you some questions about your life, relationships, and what you hope to gain from our time together.
