About me and my therapy practice
It can be easy to assume that counselling is just for people with mental health issues. However, everyone can benefit from feeling truly heard without unsolicited advice or finding themselves the one providing support, not receiving it. Friends and family although well meaning, sometimes don’t leave you feeling heard or validated. Whether you have a goal or not, we can reflect on your past, present and future to really understand what has happened, what you’d like to be different and how you might make get there.
No matter how your experiences are affecting you, we will work together in a way that suits you as a unique person with a unique set of circumstances. The changes you would like to make and how you want to make them will be equally unique. I can help you to identify what these are and what might be stopping you from feeling able to start actioning them. You, your thoughts, feelings and needs are the priority and will remain the focus of our sessions.
I know therapy can only be successful if you have a really good relationship with your counsellor, this is why I offer a 20 minute no commitment consultation call for us to make sure you feel comfortable talking to me. Practice description
I offer a free 20 minute consultation to make sure you feel comfortable talking to me. I will do my best to answer any questions you might have and we can arrange a good time to start working together.
My first session
I offer a free confidential 20 minute telephone conversation before we begin working together. This gives you an opportunity to see how you feel talking to me and for me to get a better understanding of you, your circumstances and how you're hoping I can help.
I will aim to answer any questions you may have and tell you a little more about me and my practice.
