About me and my therapy practice

Due to Covid-19 I am working online by videolink (via Zoom) for the foreseeable future, instead of face to face.  If you prefer, I also offer telephone counselling.

I work with adults and young people (secondary school age) on an individual basis in face-to-face therapy.  I work in both on an open-ended and  a short term basis.  There is a wide range of reasons why people come to me for counselling, but here are some examples:  depression, anxiety, bereavement, addiction, self-harm, job loss, miscarriage, trauma.  My training was Psychodynamic, which means that I think that looking back at our early years can help us to understand how we got where we are today.  However, I also adapt the way that I work to suit the needs of each individual.
