Life can be challenging. Maybe you are going through a significant life event. Maybe something painful happened to you in the past. Or maybe you are feeling somehow stuck and want some changes in your life. I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental environment to talk about things that you might find difficult to share with your partner, friends, and your family. I believe that connecting with a therapist through talking is empowering, and it will support you to go through things are you facing now. I believe that everyone is resilient, my fundamental role is to assist you in drawing the ability in yourself.
I am an experienced and accredited counsellor and psychotherapist providing face-to-face sessions in East London as well as telephone and online sessions. I am currently working as a Specialist Counsellor at the Sexual Assault Referral Centre in London, specialised in sexual assault and rape.
I have worked as a counsellor/psychotherapist in diverse organisations internationally. I have profound experiences of working with various problems including anxiety, depression, PTSD. I work as an integrative therapist, and use various approaches depending on client's needs to maximize the therapeutic space. I believe that an approach is not the answer to your issues but a tool to maximise the therapeutic space.
I am happy to explore and discuss with you at our initial consultation what might be a right approach for your needs. I also provide some low-cost slots. Please feel free to contact me prior to booking your session when you have any question.
My first session
Our first meeting is called an initial consultation, and it lasts 50 minutes. This session is for both of us to get a little bit more sense of each other. We will cover the following points:
- Therapeutic contract/agreement
- Session frequency
- What brought you to therapy
- What we can work together on
- How we can work together
At the end of our first meeting, you can book your regular sessions if you feel that we can work together.
