I typically work Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and Thursday afternoons/evenings but I am flexible wherever possible and I am happy to do whatever I can to work around your circumstances.

About me and my therapy practice

My name is Carol and I am a Person-centred Counsellor who can work alongside you in a safe, confidential space and time, for people who are experiencing difficulties or uncertainties in their lives.

I am a down to earth, people person who can make people feel at ease. I offer a safe and confidential setting where we can explore difficult life events and feelings which sometimes leave us lost and unsure of how to cope. It can be helpful to talk with someone who is not emotionally involved to the same extent as family or friends. We can work together to reach a point where you feel heard and understood and this may then enable you to find the strength and resilience to know what you want to do. This may help you to create healthier relationships with others, understanding yourself better and allow change to take place in the future. The aim in our relationship is for you to lead the way at your own pace and content of our sessions.

Please do email me with your name and telephone contact details – (mobile or landline) if there is anything you’d like to know and I will call you and we can arrange an appointment which suits you best.

I am also a member of COSCA Counselling & Psychotherapy in Scotland.
